NGC 2903, an isolated barred spiral galaxy located 30 million light-years away from Earth in the outskirts of the Virgo Supercluster. (In my opinion, the single greatest photo ever). ‘Pale Blue Dot’ taken by the Voyager 1, Feb 14th 1990, when NASA commanded it to look behind one last time at home before leaving our solar system forever. It spans over 4,000 light-years, more than 100 times bigger than the Orion Nebula. The massive nebula NGC 206 (center, top) is one of the largest H II regions in our Local Group of galaxies.
